"Classroom Expectations"
1. (Be PROMPT)
Be in your assigned seat and ready to work when the tardy bell rings.
2. (Be PREPARED)
Bring materials to class daily (sharpened pencil, sketchbook, eraser, agenda, & ID).
• only have required materials out
• electronic devices should be charged at home and only used at appropriate times.
• no purses or backpacks allowed on desk or in lap during class time.
3. (Be PRODUCTIVE)
Follow all directions and turn in all assignments on time.
Use time wisely and always be working on an art project.
If you finish one lesson / assignment / project – start another.
Participation and constant effort are part of your grade.

4. (Be POLITE)
Treat each person in this room with respect and dignity.
Always clean up after yourself – keep your desk and work area clean.
Return all materials & supplies to their proper storage areas before you leave the classroom.
5. (Be RESPECTFUL)
Follow “Student Code of Conduct “rules & procedures as outlined by EPISD and Chapin High School. (**handbook/agenda)
Special Expectations:
*There will be no representation of alcohol, drugs, violence, sex, or gang related imagery allowed in any student artwork.
**Cosmetics and makeup may not be applied in the classroom. This includes lotions and fragrances.
***Profanity and Foul Language will not be tolerated in classroom. 1 hour detention for each offense.
Consequences (Minor Offenses)*
1st -- Verbal Warning and documentation
2nd --Teacher / Student Conference
3rd -- Parental Contact - 30 minute after school detention.
4th -- Parent / Teacher Conference - 1 hour after school detention
5th -- Parent / Teacher / Student Conference - 2 after school detentions (1 hour each)
6th -- Disciplinary Referral
* Major offenses will be dealt with by severity according to the Student Code of Conduct
